anyone notice that the avis on yahoo 360 are very anglosaxon in their face structure? the asian/hispanic/black ones are simple diffrent colors but their facial features are very white. is this just another subtle method of projecting western ideals of beauty and racism?

Yes, you are correct. Did you also notice the new avatars that women and men have?? They are the same avatars that Yahoo Clever (Germany) uses. They're super Germanic and Aryan like.

You have too much time on your hands. A few years ago, Disney got in trouble for making middle easterners look too middle eastern. What's next...black avatars are too black, or not black enough? Asian avatars have the eyes too slanted? Get a life!

properly, i don't experience like importing %. for human beings i do not even understand, yet I be particular my avatar is a quite good representation of myself... look sensible, hair and eye colour, at a park with a shaggy white canine. My pup's call is oscar and that i like him! lol... i imagine the caricature's are cool for a "community id"

Yes. Who would want a big blow torch nose on their avatar? Not me. So we have no real ethnic choice of an avatar. Yahoo wants us to all look alike. Well, we are not alike! And we will not all ever look alike. Some of us are pretty and handsome. And some of us are uglier than a sow's azz!

Maybe they don't want unattractive avatars on the board. And why do White girls have brown avatars? They could've chosen a lighter shade.
