Diets don't work. I changed from eating a big supper and no breakfast to a big breakfast and no supper. Same amount of food but different time of day. Lost 30# in a short time.

I would not go on a diet, they don't work. What you need is a lifestyle change. Change the way you eat and what you are eating. Exercise 3-5 times a week for 20-30 minutes a day and you will lose weight. Now how much depends on how bad and if you have a plan to lose it. Hard work and good decision are you best bets for losing those unwanted pounds. Try and gain some muscle, the more muscle you have the harder the muscles work and the faster you will lose the weight. One of the healthiest diets you can go on is a diabetic diet. Go to the Amer. Diabetes Assoc. web site and they should have one available there. They are well balanced and very good for you.

Well rounded diet, with a little of everything as your Mom fed you. She was still right.
