Do you realize that Joe Montana, in the middle of his four superbowl victories, LOST three times in the FIRST ROUND of the playoffs in 3 straight seasons. Brady just lost in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP by a very close score yet all of a sudden he's "worse" than Manning. Who else thinks this is ridiculous?

Sorry guys but Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning.
Tom Brady only has 2 post season loses and 3 Superbowl rings.
Peyton only has 1 major win. and all the sudden hes better. Peyton still has to prove himself outside the hype. So we will see next year.
I am a NE Fan and I am not dissing Manning, he just needs to show more than just Superbowl, to be consider to be one of the best.

I think any player is only as good as the rest of his team. Manning has 2 great receivers and tight end. Their running game was also good this year. Brady's receivers aren't as good but yet they got all they way to the AFC championship game. Both are great players.

It's not that Brady is worse now, its that Peyton is better. Peyton has always been the better QB, just lacked the big one like Dan Marino. With a Super Bowl title, there is really no arguement for Brady anymore. Peyton's career QB rating is 6 points higher than Brady's. Peyton is better.

i think using team accomplishments to define a single players career is ludicrous, thats what i think. i think the other 21 starters on the Colts and Patriots (not counting special teams starters which would add another 15-20 or so starters) would take great offense to your stance that Manning and Brady won the games. the Colts and the Patriots won the football games, the QB just ran the offense. i dont care how great your QB or offense is, without a defense you arent winning anything. the Colts couldve easily lost 3 of the 4 games they won in the playoffs had their defense not been playing lights out football. same goes for the Patriots, the Patriots had a hell of a defense when "Brady" won them 3 Super Bowls.

I think all of the stupid Patriots fans that feel they have to degrade Manning must be trying to compensate for pathetic puny lives. Neither Brady nor Manning buy into your pitiful ignorant ranting. Why don't you just drop dead and do us all a favor. Sorry you can't satisfy your wives any more. Maybe if you had a testosterone shot you'd be real men again.
The Colts fans didn't start this line of argument, the NE fans did. They just can't accept that their team is now the Colts and Manning's bee-yatch. By the way, the Pats FINALLY have to play a regular season game in Indy next year. sorry about your luck. Don't bother coming here. It won't be pretty.

Brady was never a better quarterback than Manning. He had a better team around him that helped him win his superbowls. He owes Vinateri two of his super bowl rings.

i think they are about the same,
it was just peytons year
and he knows he has to work his but of to beatt t he pats again next year
but its more than just being a good quarter back. you have to be a good person. peyton just deserved it so much more this year than anyone else in the league. like i said it was just peytons year, he saw an oppurtunity and he was definately not going to let that slip away from him.
he was going to try to win that game any way he knew how to,
besides your just a bitter pats fan wishing your team could have won.
dont worry i was in that situation hits your kinda hard. when the saints lost i cried. everyone says we all just jumped on the bandwagon but season tickets were sold out long before they got"better".

Peyton Manning as a pure QB is more skilled that Tom Brady. Anybody who says they would pick Manning over Brady to lead their team is just flat out wrong. Tom Brady is just a flat out winner.
I do love that Brady has been ragged on this season when the DEFENSE is what gave up 38 pts to the Colts, and Brady did everything in his power with a horrible recieving corp to win the game. Manning has Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, Brady has UGH Reche Caldwell.....

Not me. Brady makes too many dumb mistakes. Didn't have the defense and Adam Vinatieri to make up for his mistakes this year.
