You don't need anything, just put the game pak in it, and it will play it.
But half of the pak will be out of the GBA, but that's normal
and to the guy on top of me, NO, you can't play them on the DS

Gameboy SP, DS all gameboys made after the gameboy stepped ahead change into released. something previously it like the pocket, or colour isnt going to play your stepped ahead video games reason they're more effective stepped ahead ;)

Of course, though it sticks out quite a bit and makes it a bit awkward and uncomfortable. It will work though. That's what makes Nintendo so great, they strive to make backwards compatible gaming systems!

If you are talking about the old gameboy. The kind big one. Then yes. It can also be used on a gameboy advance sp or a ds.
