I think that is because most of the worlds cultures have been structured to suit a male-dominated hierarchy. The idea of uncontrolled female sexuality is perhaps seen as a threat to males who are afraid of losing a kind of "power-monopoly". This may be a behavior rooted in reproductive strategies. Simplified it could be seen as males (in an attempt to insure that they will reproduce successfully) attempting to restrict access to female mates by other males of their species. Many male animals of other kinds do this by fighting off other suitors - humans just seem to have created a ritualized cultural morality to maintain it in a less violent way.

The cultural "morality" seems to be embedded in both sexes during early childhood through countless verbal and non-verbal reinforcements.

Personally I think "prudish" or "puritan" religious sexual attitudes are like bizarre superstitious taboos that should have no place in the life of a rational person of normal and healthy sexuality. Most of the world does not seem to be rational normal or healthy in this respect - on the other hand; I have no doubt my attitude of accepting open sexuality as normal and natural would most likely be considered to be amoral or anti-social by the general population if I were to express it.

Isn't sex suppose to be private? If everyone was open about sex, can you imagine what the young children would experience? You can be open about your sexuality with your partner(s), in behind closed door, but no one want to see your private parts of your body in normal everyday life. I guess if you are hansome, or pretty, it's better, but can you imagine if you are not...it would gross me out.

Why in the H3LL might they be sorting out your cleavage? and you're sufficiently previous to do what you like, who cares what they think of. they're all hypocrites with the choose robes on, some people might desire to take them off and get a life!

we all have different morals when it comes to sex. if you are happy and comfortable having casual sex with multiple partners, then go for it! just don't do anything you'll live to regret.

as far as i am concerned, i want to save sex for someone special, and likewise, i want a partner who is saving it for me too..
