Ok so here's what I think is the cutest idea, that I actually stole from someone else and gave my bf last year for valentines. You should make him a fleece blanket. Go out to a fabric store and pic out some fleece with a pattern you think he'd like (enough to make a large enough blanket for two ;) then with the two short ends you cut thin strips about four inches deep and 1.5 inches wide and tie them off. It looks way cute in the end and means a lot cause of the time and effort, plus it's not too expensive. My bf is 23 and he loved it, he sleeps with it and we cuddle in it all the time. I just left it on his bed with tons of candy and a cute card.

If he's goth then thats easy. Just buy him any goth-like stuffs ill give you an example such as a studded belt, a studded bracelet, a belt with one of those gothic buckle (like pentogram symbol or just hardcore fangs or skull or something similar), a black rose (this is weird but goth is about darkness and while valentines is all about chocolates and roses why dont give him a black rose its unique and goth like), or better yet you could write him some gothic poems he would love it cos most goths like poems. I hope this helps you and gives you some idea. Goodluck!

I got a message today saying, "Are you trying to think of an original and socially conscious gift for them? How about a llama, donated in their name to a family in Ecuador? Or a fair trade gift like soapstone heart boxes from Kenya? Stand out from the crowd and give your loved one a gift that will truly make a difference."
The OneWorld Gift Guide helps you find fair trade
jewelry, crafts, and other items as well as find
causes that you can help your loved one support.

What about some kind of experience day such as Zorbing for 2? Memories are so much more precious than material things.

Buy him a CD or a gift card to buy a CD. Surely he likes music.
