When a woman reaches menopause her ovaries stop producing estrogen but she goes on producing testosterone (a male hormone) and she often begins to develop male characteristics like a moustache and beard. It's normal for post-menopausal women to become much less like women and very much more like men.

Your grandmother obviously still has the female instinct to kiss you, but her body has begun to become more like that of a man.

Why is it a problem? I bet your grandpa has even more, so why is it ok for a man to have lots, but a woman to have just a few is seen as terrible? Everyone has fine hairs on their face, when you are older your fine hairs on your face will became more course and they will became noticeable.

You are lucky to still have a Grandparent. Mine have all died and I would give anything to see them again, whiskers or otherwise.
