They aren't a disgrace to NCAA Football, just Division 1 NCAA Football. They don't belong on that level. There is a reason they are independent, that reason is because NO ONE wants them.

Because they've done exactly NOTHING in the last 20 years! They are one of the worst programs in D-1 right now, but I will say that I hope their move to the MAC will afford them easier competition than in the Big East, and that they will right the ship.

they are not a disgrace but something is seriously wrong with their program. i saw the clemson game on tv and they got totally outclassed, it was like watching NCAA team vs a high school team..

Because they don't recruit, coach, or play well. They are just bad, and would have a better chance at succeeding in I-AA
