Well, yes, your body can absorb back the baby without much blood at all or any in some cases. This generally happens pretty early on and happens quite a bit with twins. Many more babies start out as twins but women go on to have a singleton once the second baby reabsorbs.
However, I wouldn't worry. You're far enough along that this really should not be a concern.
I'd recommend renting a BabyBeat. After my miscarriage scares in my first pregnancy, I rented one for my second and whenever I'd get a little nervous, I'd just listen for the heartbeat.
Also, if you are feeling anxious, many doctors will let you call in and they'll have a nurse use the doppler on you usually that same day.

I can remember the wait seeming horrible! Like so much could happen, etc.... I am sure that if you are this concerned you are doing all the things you can do for your baby, like eating right and watching any meds, taking vitamins, etc.
After that you just have to let God finish his work on the inside!
I have had three healthy normal pregnancies and one miscarriage. There will be not only blood, not just spotting, but there will be pain, and it will not be like the little cramping you may feel now with your uterus stretching and changing. It will be like a VERY hard period. You will know if you are having a miscarriage. Worrying will not make it happen or not happen, so just enjoy the moment.
I will suggest one thing that I had such a hard time doing. Take a break from all the baby books, and articles, and websites. Just commit to a short period of time when you will not read or watch any of those. Maybe just 2 or 3 days, a week would be better. Nothing is going to change and you won't miss any information.
Focus on shopping for the baby or planning the nursery, or if you can, just get a haircut or do some things that have nothing to do with the pregnancy for a little while. It will help with the anxiety about something going wrong and you can enjoy the changes in your body LOL without having to understand every detail.
The time between doctor visit will get shorter as you go along, and remember, pregnancy is not an illness, it is natural and the doctor is just there to monitor.
I hope this helps....

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks with my first pregnancy. I had symptoms kinda like cramps and lots of bleeding. There is no way possible for you to miscarry without taking notice. Even if you had no physical pain, there is no way you wouldn't notice the bleeding. Relax.

ALL of these people are wrong that said you can't miscarry without bleeding. It's referred to as a missed miscarriage and requires a d&c usually..It is diagnosed by ultrasound and labwork.
But sweetie..you have no reason to think this has happened! And you're almost far along enough now that the threat of miscarriage is almost gone!
But,like my doctor told me when I was worried about having a miscarriage.."Yes,you're worried..you'll be worried next month..next summer when the baby comes..next year..18 years from now when the child's out late after prom!! Get used to it,that's motherhood! Best wishes to you!

When you are pregnant you will worry about anything and everything. Trust me i know. But if you miscarried there would be alot of blood and i mean a lot of it and you would be cramping. Dont worry about anything you will be FINE! Enjoy the time you have while you're pregnant cause it flys by and when the baby gets here they grow up FAST!! my daughter is almost 17 months old! Its like yesterday she was born!

The chances of miscarriage in a normal pregnancy are about 15-20%. That number drops to about 5% after the heartbeat has been seen on an ultrasound.
If by now, your doctor doesn't suspect a problem, you are probably in the clear, so you can relax.

I had a missed misscarriage, and I did not have any bleeding nor did I feel any cramps. I found out during a routine ultrasound, the baby had no heartbeat and stopped growing. Try to stay positive. I am now 14wks and very nervous, but so far so good.
