For DDR do you need to have a play station 2 or not?? I am really confused by it??

Whatever game console name it says on the case of the vid. game, that's the console that you will need. Then you will need to buy the right pads that are compatible with the RIGHT game console, RedOctane, if i'm not mistaken, is compatible with both XBOX and PS2

IF you have the Playstation version you need a playstion
If an XBox version an XBox
Becasue it comes with a cd which goes into the game machine
