If a saturated solution of Ag2CrO4 has a Ksp = 1.10 x 10-12 and a [CrO42-] = 7.1e-05, what is the value of [Ag+]? Thanks for your help.

This is basically an equilibrium problem. Set up a balanced equilibrium reaction for a saturated solution. The undissolved salt on reactants side and the ions in solution on the products. Remember balance by putting the numbers in front - not by changing subscripts.

Now write an equilibrium constant expression for the reaction. Remember substances with concentrations that don't change are not included - like solids and liquids.

The Ksp is the equilibrium constant, [chromate] is given, and [Ag+] is x. Solve for x.
