Militarily? I think we've spread ourselves out pretty thin. If the Chinese ever came after us, it would be a close fight. Economically? Not unless we can take care of this latest deficit. Spiritually? No--too many people think their way is the only way. Ethically? No, sadly. But Socially? Absolutely. For whatever reason, our movies and music and TV shows seem to fascinate other countries to the point that we've got a power some of us don't even recognize. Did you know that a couple of years ago, BAYWATCH was the most watched TV show in the world?

The US is probably the most power full today ,militarily and financially.I reckon in 20 years time the US will be struggling for the oil they need ,and China with most of their recourse's untapped, IE minerals gas oil.I think this is a great topic.

All except ethically.
We could EASILY kick the world's @ss militarily.
We are still the richest nation on earth, thanks to Europe's socialistic nature
We MAY not be the most spiritual country anymore. We used to be, but I don't know... If you don't count killing infidels as religious, we may still be.
Ethically? I WISH. We still beat Europe every time (nudity even on cable TV), but I am sure there are more ethical countries than us.
Killing our children and letting child molesters walk the streets doesn't help.
