Don't worry about the celebrities. Let them do their thing and you do yours. You don't need them to give help and support. There are a lot of organizations out there that you can utilize for your contributions. Two that I've dealt with are the Christian Children's Fund and Feed-A-Child / Feed the Children. The latter only asks you to commit to a pledge of $8.00 a month, but you can give more. You can donate electronically or you can get their mailing address from their websites and donate by check or money order.
