can you file your parent in the philippines as you dependent. they dont have ss numbers.?

Great question - but as you're "sending" the money outside of the US I don't think the gov't is going to give you a tax break. Ask a pro.

That somehow sounds illegal. I would ask your CPA who prepares your taxes though.
