Since the Ecoli thing? I only would eat the hard shell taco once and a blue moon....But I swore I wouldn't return...whats your take?

I must admit I was extremely hungry one day and I did stop there after the whole ecol i thing......It was so funny because I was sitting in the drive thru trying to reason with myself that it was ok....but in retrospect I do recall some crazy looks from passersby even the staff seemed shocked

Well, I actually ate at a Taco Bell once or twice since the whole E coli thing, and I'm still alive. I think that they probably have the actual outbreak under control (since you don't hear about it much in the news anymore, if at all) but I think they're going to have a bit of a hard time getting some people to come back. As for me, well, if I get a hankering for decent cheap fast food, I'd go back there with no problems.

I've eaten there once since the scare. I feel reasonable assured that they fixed the problem for now.
However, Taco Bell is not my favorite. It's actually cheaper to get a lunch portion Mexican meal with free chips and salsa from our local Mexican diner than it is to eat a Taco Bell.

Have not been there for a long time and not because of the ecoli lettuce. Just don't like their food. I love Mexican food but that doesn't cut it. Taco Bell makes me gag.

I didn't live in an area where there was anyone getting sick, so I didn't worry about it. Besides, while I know it can make you really sick and even kill you, I believe that the media throws it WAY out of proportion (and this is coming from a journalism major). I never stopped going to Taco Bell.

My family all got sick about two yrs ago eating from Taco Bell. We haven't been back in over two years and don't plan to ever go back!!!I buy the taco kits from the grocery store and all fresh ingredients and make them myself. That way I know my family is SAFE...and we still get to enjoy tacos. We make it a family affair and make each one just the way we want. Besides, it's cheaper!

i do not go to taco bell anymore. i was turned of even before the whole ecoli thing. i had real mexican food cooked by mexicans and thats all i can eat now. but i will eat baja fresh.

I think I didn't eat there for a couple of weeks afterwards, but since then have gone back to eating there a few times a month without any problems.
