I just bought a 60 GB ipod video and was wondering if anyone else has one. I want to slip it in a case rite away so it'll stay nice. duz anyone know of a case or a brand of case that they really like and keep the ipod in superb condition? I'm a bit of a neat freak so i need one that keeps it REALLY nice. I want a case that u can keep it in and use the click wheel and see the screen while its still in the case. any ideas? if u got it online please give me a link.

Try the Belkin Kickstand case. They have both a white and black case and they have ones for the 30GB iPod and the 80GB iPod (the 80GB is the same exact size as the 60GB so it'll work with your 60GB iPod). I have a 30GB iPod and I got the Belkin kickstand case because I saw my friend use it and I decided to buy it. I've bought my iPod for about 2 months now and it still looks like I bought it yesterday!

Here's a link for it:

Ignore the reviews; they are just trying to not make you buy an iPod.

Pretty much any store that sells iPods will sell a full array of accessories. You'll get a slightly different variety from one store to the next, but all of them will sell some version of the things you will need to adequately protect your iPod. The first thing you need is a screen protector. This will be an adhesive film that covers your entire screen. Get this ASAP, but make sure your iPod is completely clean of fingerprints and dust or they'll just be trapped under the screen protector when you apply it (for that matter, try not to touch the sticky surface or you'll just put reverse-image fingerprints on it that way). Then find a case that appeals to you. The silicone ones will leave the face of your iPod visible at all times, but the silicone rubber will help protect against falling impact if you should drop it. Most leather cases have a face that flips open, and will be held shut either by embedded magnets or a snap clasp. Regardless, the only "cases" that you'll have to remove the iPod from completely to see the screen and access the click wheel are the sock variety, like the slipcase that comes packaged with the iPod.

I have a crystal case -it is a plastic case which opens up, you put your ipod down where it rests on small silicone cushions. You shut the case, click the locks on so it doesn't fall out and go. There is a hole for the wheel, headphone sicket and the usb cable connector. Not a scratch on my ipod. Screen is super clear. £7.99 from HMV

This is the one I have. It's a hard case and you could still use your wheel. the only problem is that I can't dock the ipod on my logitech speaker/player unless I take the case off.
