I'm shy too, people think I'm weird at first, but when I get used to them I open up and they see the real me. So I guess when you're a small child it's cute but as you get older, people are creeped out by you.

I've always been shy too. Ever since I started going out more and made more friends in highschoolm, it's helped alot. I know I'll be graduating HS next year, and I'm going out of state to college so I know I can't afford to be shy.
I think after awhile you get over being shy and more comfortable with yourself.
Good luck!

I'm shy too, in most cases. Like when i'm getting to know people for the first time. But i usually get on their nerves when I know them! I'm also unusually quiet also and do not know how to start conversations with people but I conside myself a nice person. Most shy people usually get to know people before they loosen up.

Different people are what makes this world so diverse and interesting. If everyone had the same outgoing personality, life would be boring! So shy people are just as unique as anyone else. Don't let your shyness get you down!

i used to be shy but im now very out going so i see both points easily some people may think youre stuck up or somthing but once you get to know them you may feel comfortable talking and getting to know them then theyll see who you really are
school is where you may have trouble getting friends but be yourself and sign up for things such as clubs and sports where you can interact with people!good luck

shy people are just shy! I have friends who are totally in their own shell, and every so often, I just have to be crazy and wild and pull them out and make them laugh and then they go back, and I'm fine with it.
:) and it's never a bad thing, if that's what you think people will say. if you're shy, than you're shy :) no biggy

shy people arent any different from the rest of us.....of course theyre quieter and sometimes get better grades in school....but....i know plenty of them...im one myself when it comes to being around people i dont know.......i just start to act funny like i do around my friends.....cause some laughs.....(but dont go to far)....and strike up some conversation......pretty soon, ive got a new friend!!!! so shy people arent REALLY different....but they can be alot more interesting than some open book :-D

I am shy when I am in large groups in public and also shy at school, That's why i love the computer, it has helped me really speak my mind when i normally cant. shyness is a personality trait not anything to try to change.

I would much rather be around shyer people than people who talk too loud and too often about nothing. Shy people are much more interesting.
