and can we see it in the northern hemisphere? If so, where?

the sun, the next one is alpha centuri i dont know if it can be seen

I suppose you don't expect the answer "the sun". Everybody knows it. The nearest star to us is Alpha Centauri (Or Proxima Centauri if it is not part of the system Alpha Centauri, this is not known yet). Alpha Centauri cannot be seen in the northern hemisphere. Proxima Centauri is too faint to be seen at all.

the sun is the closest star to us and yes we can see it its that big flaming hot ball in the sky that gives us a tan :)

the sun, and yes, i think you can see it from here. other than that it would be alpha centauri (technically 3 stars), and no, you cannot.
