i took a marketing job when i graduated college, but it wasnt really marketing. they said it was pre setup sales interviews with companies that would sell our products. they said it wasnt door to door sales. bit it wasnt in peoples homes it was business to business. my job was to sell stuff ranging in price from 5-35$ to people i might come in contact during my day. first we drove to another city about a half hour away, then they took me in and out of so many stores. i got kicked out about 20 times and the cops called on us before noon. then i found a starbucks and quit until i could get a ride home.
it was the most embarassing thing i have ever done. the worst part was i had just got the new suit for this job and new shoes and they had me walking through the snow.

I worked at this place called Metal Industries, where we assembled air conditioning vents. And if that was not bad enough, I had to do this thing called "Flagging" where basically you took a small piece of plastic that looked like a flag and put it in the end of a "Blade" (that is what those things that open and close in vents are called) and then you banged the blade on a table. Basically it required keeping my hand balled in a fist for hours and hours everyday.

I work in a old mill in North Carolina that was being torn down during the summer. My job was to pull the old nails from the original floor boards, so they could be planed down and resold. I needed the money to get home from college.

The one I have now. I am an R&D technician, but the plant manager sees me as an overpaid production worker.
I love the work I do, making prototype parts, and I like my coworkers.
I absolutely hate the b4st4rds who run the place now.

My first job was picking sqaush in a field. It was hot, and you can get "sqaush rash" from the plants... I had to ride in this sqaush picking truck to the fields and then follow behind it picking a specific type and size of sqaush I was asked to pick for the day. I hated it!

Discovery Zone. in case you've never heard about it, it's a place like Chuck-E-Cheese. lots of screaming UN-SUPERVISED ankle-biters. i had to wear a booger green t-shirt, and i lasted 1 month. the parents were supposed to watch their own kids, but never did. as soon as i had to pull a kid out, and he kicked me, i quit. that was in high school.
