I am kind of dissappointed that Nathan is Claire's father b/c I thought that Peter & Claire had great chemistry and now he's her uncle!!! Also, it just too neatly ties almost every character together in a way...The Petrellis know Mohinder, the artist, Hiro, and now Claire is a Petrelli who was adopted by Mr. Bennett who kind of knows what every "Hero" is up to.....

i suspected it because i heard that there would be a surprising connection between claire and peter but there was absolutely no chance they would ever get together. to me the only way that you could say that about 2 tv characters is if they are related.claire is 16 nathan has to be between 35-40 so since hes old enough i guessed him to be the daddy

Music Star 4 ever- Sylar is only interested in Claire because he wants to take her regeneration power.
But for me, I was pretty surprised it was Nathan. My friend claimed she knew it because of his watch or something, but I think she was lying. I didn't really think it was gonna be a character we already knew- I thought they would just introduce a new guy and his power. But I'm excited for the next episode, cause I want to see how Nathan reacts...he's kind of unpredictable in this situation.

Unexpected yes, But I can believe he is the father. This being as the show doesn't really show or tell you everything. So they can during the course of the season spring this stuff on you and you'll react the way you are now.

I know!! I thought is was Skylar because he take so much interest in Clair. But if Nathan is Clair's father... then that makes Peter her uncle. I knew they were connected but not to this extreme point

I definitely expected it to be him especially in the previews where they showed his arm with the shirt sleeve rolled up and an expensive watch. They have already showed that he's okay with sleeping around and Claire's mom doesn't look too different from Niki (totally different from his wife) so I guess he's into that look. It was still great to find out for sure!
