Take a picture of the place you parked. If there was no sign posted and the lines were not clearly defined, then you should be able to get the ticket reversed. Request a court date. DO NOT PAY.
But be prepared to pay if the officer who issued the ticket is there at the court and you don't have pictures of the space.

Don't be to gun hoe to pay that ticket!
Go to court plead your case and BRING your evidents. Be prepared.
I personally would plead not guilty, have pictures of the same spot where parked.
Also was the ticket issued on the street (That would be government) Or was it in a private parking lot? (Private is owned by owner of parking lot not government different issue all together).
If issue by private owner- Write letter with pictures and events. Mail to address on back of ticket slip. (KEEP ALL COPIES).
And tell them you refuse to pay because of etc ...!
Did you know it is always best to plead not guilty and fight any ticket as 8 chances out of 10 the signing officer doesn't show up in court or let to long for court then can also be dismissed.
Then just thrown out. Dismissed!

how much is the ticket?
you will waste at least one day in court, if you make no money, or it's your day off and nothing else to do, go for it, but if the cop doesn't show up on the court day, you will be in for one more day.
I think that handicap parking is over rated anyway, we even have a golf course with 12 handicap parking spots, believe it or not, it's true

I think you should go to court and fight it! If you can, I would go back to the parking spot and take a picture of it covered in snow to prove that it is hard to tell the difference.

go to court. They should drop it. I'd only do it if the costs are worht it though, now that we can pay tickets online, it has to be an expensive ticket to make it worth it.

Raed your state's statutes. In most states, failure to mark the space vitiates the penalty.
