well im 14 and i averaged it out and 100 meters equals about 333 feet and i can run 47 feet in like 2.8 or some seconds so my time for the 100 would be like 20 but figuring in slowing down a little when tired it would be like anywhere up to like 24 or 25, is that good? like for jv track in high school? and if its not tell me please, and if you know what a good time for someone my age would be. thanks :]

You have to be way under 20 seconds. You can't slow down because you are tired. For a 14-year-old 20 seconds is not good -- 15 seconds would be good.

The 100 meter is a sprint race -- *all out* for all 100 meters, or nothing.

When you race 400 meters and above, THEN you can think about pacing yourself, but not the100 meter.

Yeah that's a good time for a 13 year old, I was in track and I'm 13 and my best 100 meter dash time was 14.3, I hear you need to be older and grow more muscle to run faster though.

The world record is 9.78. Any time over that is pretty much not good enough!
