Yes. Jus like black people can have their all black pagents, festivals, ect. but if white people tried to do something like that it would be a huge controversial lawsuit in a minute.

What's worse is when an African-American person insults white people b.c of the whole slavery thing. Yeah, that was horrible, but it doesn't affect modern blacks or whites whatsoever! We can't help what cruel things our ancestors did. Sometimes when people strive for equality, it ends up the minority gets a bigger benefit.

I'm not being racist, I'm jus observing.

I think we ought to start celebrating President's Month again. February used to be President's Month, but it got ousted by Black History Month. I don't know why we can't have both. We all need to learn as much as we can about each other's cultures. We are all inhabitants of the same planet, after all. Sheeeeeesh!

At the high school that I graduated from, American History was a mandatory class. African-American history was only an elective. It just shows that Black history isn't all that important in the eyes of some people but yet American history must be taught to all beginning in elementary school. If I've been forced to learn about George Washington all my life, I should also have the chance to learn about Madame CJ Walker as well.
