I was wondering if I can get some help: I have over 500 songs (all MP3 files) in my Window Media Player, but when I get my I-Pod, how will I be able to convert my songs onto the I-Pod? I know it comes with a little kit to help yo download your music, but is it really easy to do, or difficult? Do u have to download I-Tunes first (and convert my songs there) before I get my I-Pod???

u have to download or else there's no way to use it. and then u drag the songs there, press the plus sign to add files so u can put the songs there. then press the little ipod under and select all the files so u can add to ur ipod. don't disconnect until its done. name the files the way u like it, by music type or singers... good luck! it's not hard. just the beggining!

what i did yesterday when I bought my nano was: go to the file where you have your songs, select a song and open it with itunes and that's how you "convert" the songs. well, that's how i did it and it worked for me.

yes, download iTunes first. It's so easy to download songs, even a caveman can do it.
