I am astounded when observing the idiocy with which all you pile of decerebrate apes approach this simple question. If ignorance were a crime, you would spend life behind bars, the information highway would flow faster, and the streets would be less crowded. I honestly believe that the presidential seat should only be occupied by the one who is more adequate for the most important position on Earth both from a political standpoint and an economic standpoint. It is difficult for a single person, prodigious as I am, to elect the best candidate for the Presidency for my faint voice is only one among a sea of loud idiots who do not know what they want. Nevertheless, it seems to me that nowadays the political climate favors Sen. Obama. I strongly believe that the Illinois senator has the intellectual credentials to lead a nation as powerful as the United States. Many people may question his political inexperience, but to me it matters not. The quality I want in a president is the ability to face the problems that afflict this nation as they appear and to resolve those problems promptly in a rational manner.

Hell no, I don't think he should be president. What has he done? Aside from getting elected to the senate, I mean, which admittedly is no small accomplishment in the post-9/11 world for a man with a name that sounds like it ought to be on the terrorist watch list. Besides, he has the corrupt Chicago machine behind him, even to the point of their trying to move the Illinois primary up to Feb. 5 (for one year only, of course) because they think it will give their guy an advantage over his competition (as if a guy who couldn't carry his own damned state would ever have a dog's chance in hell no matter when the election was)! Anyone the Chicago machine is backing, I'm against. That's it, that's all!

At this juncture in the political process, I cannot give him my support. I cannot give any of them my support. As it stands, he does not have too much political experience which worries me some due to our current global situations. But perhaps that is what the USA needs: someone who has yet to be influenced/distorted/bought, by the dealings in Washington. A fresh idea in an otherwise dark and dismal place. Unlike the other candidates, he may still be listening to the People instead of the corporations that line their campaign pockets. A bit cynical? Perhaps. I'd prefer to say I am a realist.

No, I am not opposed to it but I think he lacks the experience necessary to fix the mess that George Bush has made. I think he would be a great nominee for the Vice President and in 2016 be in position to run for president. 8 years he will be 51 and be a little older and a little wiser. If his name ends up on the ballot in 08 I will vote for him though as the repuglicans have left me no alternative. I don't want any of those guys.

No, I don't think so. He just doesn't have enough experience for me. I feel any candidate should have been in the military service. Even if they never got a chance to go to war, there needs to be tatical experience behind them. That leaves Hillary out, although her intentions are good, it takes more than that to run the WH.

No. He shows up at his day job 3 times a week - no experience in DC, and very limited here in Illinois. Because he is coming out of Illinois, I promise, there is grease. It wont take long to find.

I think he would do a great job with national matters like health care and social security, but I'm not sure he has what it takes to handle our international issues
