They are abusing a position of trust. What's gotten into women nowadays?
Look at that NASA astronut lady accused of trying to kidnap a rival for the attention of a male.
And another thing, where were these ladies when I was in High School???

We must not apply double standards according to liberwhackies.
Many of these boys now have serious psychological damage, no organ damage, but just the same as ANY rape victim.

The last time I looked at the list of women rapers, yes rapers (we must not use double-standards according to liberwhackies) there was about 40-50 of them and growing and like they say probably just the tip of the iceberg.

G, wendy, you seem to know a lot about the definition of rape.
Been studying the subject lately? Pssst, become a school teacher! Practice beats theory anytime!
I thought they was something wrong about the word "raper", guess my high school teacher was trying to throw me off track.

If you want to find that "list" use your imagination with the pertinent words (instead af high school students) and Yahoo or Google it and you should find it.

G, Wendy, I was trying to do the same too. Guess our signals got mixed somewhere between "raper" and "rapist".
I like "raper", sounds more like present tense. "Rapist" sounds like they get away with it, much of what everyone is pointing out. Yeah, I got secret message...

Male teachers, priests, cub scout leaders etc. have been abusing their charges for years. This is all about power and controlling the relationship, especially when you have someone preying on another who they view as innocent and vulnerable. Women seem to be following suit. It should not be tolerated under any condition and count yourself lucky that you were not preyed upon in this horrendous fashion. You would need years of intensive therapy to feel good again.

Society needs to wake up and do something about the individuals capable and willing to commit acts of violence against children. Men or women, there should be no difference in the way they are treated within the judicial system. A pedophile is a pedophile the gender should not be a deciding factor in their punishment. The amount of psychological abuse is tremendous regardless of the gender of the victim. What is gotten into women, that I can not answer, perhaps the fact that they can get away with it has something to do with it. Regarding the woman working at NASA, even a highly educated individual can snap, she was obviously not very emotionally secure within herself would be my guess. When you were in high school they were at home being abused sexually or emotionally by someone they loved and trusted. Something happened somewhere down the line that made them believe this type of behavior is acceptable and "normal". Just my opinion. God bless****

"Liberwhackies" (?) and their double standards? Yet YOU condemn these women in one sentence, and then wonder where these women were when you were in school? When you were in school, did they teach you the meaning of the term "hypocrisy?" I agree that they are abusing a position of trust, and it is very, very wrong, but you seem to be condemning them and validating their behavior at the same time...does the irony not occur to you? Or, are you being ironic, and thus diminishing the abuses of these teachers on purpose? And could you please provide that list of 40-50 female "rapers"? It should be pretty handy, since you just looked at it. Oh, and BTW, the proper term is "rapist" not "raper"...I guess they didn't teach you much in school, after all.
EDIT--Whoo!! Touchy aren't we? Don't like being told your grasp on the English language leaves a lot to be desired, huh? Probably not the only thing, I would imagine. Invest in a dictionary. Besides, why get your little floral print panties in a wad? I was trying to HELP you!! Some people are so ungrateful! BTW, KNOWING how to use the appropriate term for "someone who commits rape" doesn't make me a rapist...just like knowing the definition of "man" doesn't make you one.

the same reason men do it as well. they like the feeling of power and superiority.
and what does the astronaut have to do with women teachers raping students? two completely different issues. i think she is a little bit unhinged, cause that was some seriously strange behaviour.
edit:
you blast someone for double standards, and yet you ask where they were when you were in high school, so you obviously arent too worried about the damage it can cause either.

The sentences for women raping a student should be the same as a man. Rape is rape, it makes no difference the sex of the predator committing the act. Life in prison would be a resonable sentence.

They are child molesters. There should be no double standard when it comes to older women having sex with teenage boys. It is wrong and the book should be thrown at them. I'm sick of seeing these blond haired blue-eyed women getting over on the system just because they are attractive, they take advantage of these young boys (even though the boys don't think so) and totally mess up their lives (even though they don't see it at the time). They like being able to manipulate a young boy and have him totally under her control and it also feeds her ego. Debra La Fave or whatever her name is belongs in prison with the other pedophiles.

I'm with you on that last part! Where were these teachers when I was in school? I mean some of them are hot! Man I wish when I was in middle school and high school I could have been nailing a few of my teachers. And what the hell is wrong with these kids that tell on them?
Oh and quit calling these people pedophiles, it's technically the wrong term. Look up paraphilias, a pedophile is somebody that is sexually attracted to prepubescent kids. If they are postpubescent (teen/adolescents) that's ephebophilia.

40 or 50????? more like 4 or 5. Women rarely commit rape. Its a hot news item this week.....but it wont last, the rates will never be as high as male teachers who abuse and rape their female students...there are too many of those to report in a daily newspaper.

It has been said that any society, growing large and prosperous enough will first evolve into being matriarchal, then destroy itself.
We're apparently halfway there if men are only floor mats, while the women standing upon them are still screaming, "Equal rights!" I'd love equal rights.
I'd love to be an intelligent, straight, white male and have every opportunity that other people get for just being a minority or woman. I'd love to be a sweet and nice guy who doesn't have to be made to feel guilty for the misogyny and bigotry that men of the past made, who happen to look like me. I'd love to be straight and feel no need to flaunt my sexuality and protest because i need to "come out of the closet" and tell everyone who and what i sleep with, or be bombarded by those who do.
But we don't live in those times. I must endure being ridiculed for my white skin (because obviously i must have a tiny penis and terrible at sports), laughed at because I'm straight (because i obviously don't have the guts to come out of the closet), made to feel guilty because I'm male, because other men have done bad things. And this is the kicker: Hated because I'm Christian, because obviously I'm weak and need a crutch and have a low IQ, despite my advance science degree. Being Christian also makes me a hypocrite, obviously, because if i have EVER done anything wrong, i can't warn others against it.
Someone please run over me with a bus?

our judical system should be throwing these teachers in jail. Our teachers have our trust with the children of the future and there should be tougher laws in every county in every state to keep this from happening. They are just causing more damage to the children.
