Topps Football Cards Worth

Don't listen to that guy. He has no idea about the card business.
First of all the overproduction of both baseball and football cards in the late 80's and early 90's DROPPED the value of cards because they were so mass produced.

Any sealed Topps set will be worth money because Topps has been around the longest and many people collect a Topps set every year (whether it be baseball or football). Also depending on your Rc cards you could have some serious value, especially if they are autographed Rc's

To he earlier poster LOL. I'm sure someday and IPOD or an old Nintendo game will be worth as much as a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle (Book Value $20,000) Do some research before you give someone false information

you can buy new sealed sets on amazon.com and pokeorder.com for $50.00.

i would doubt that they will appreciate in value much for a very long time.

the reason baseball card values went skyhigh was because collecting baseball cards was a popular childhood hobby of the baby boomer generation and they are merely buying back momentos from their childhood. it does not mean pieces of cardboard with pictures on them are intrinsically valuable by any means. it's all about the memories.

if i were to collect any items and store them speculating that those items might increase in value i would look around at what kids today are playing with today. i might put away one of the original atari or nintendo game machines or an original ipod so when today's younger generation gets older and nostalgic for 'what they used to have',they may be willing to pay a high dollar amount to recover some lost artifact from their younger days.
