u need to strengthen ur back
even if u have the flexibility it wont be better without the strength

try laying on ur stomach and lifting ur arms and legs of just and inch or two and holding it for 5 breaths then come down. do that about 5-10 times a day. it makes a difference. i call them "supermans" haha.

strectching with it helps too but dont just do one or the other
and stay pulled up

good luck

stretch out first and put your leg "behind" on the bar in an arabesque possition and stretch forward and directly back. do plies and then try to lift your leg off the bar and hold it. do this several times and start on the low bar first then on the high bar.youll gain flexibility in your back while you stretch out your quads in the plie.plus you are training your muscles to hold and controling your turn out.

For better balance, keep your eyes focused on an object or person. For a higher leg, stretch a lot and become more flexible. Good luck!

i strech with my right hand on my right knee ( or a little above) and pull the right leg straight. I try to make the leg perfectly split and then release the hand and try not to lower the leg any. This had worked very well.

Make sure that your leg is turned out, and you toe is pointed. Try to wing your foot. Have someone push your leg higher if possible then have them let go and you try to hold it.
