I pump exclusively too and just started taking Fenugreek 6 days ago to increase milk supply. In addition to Fenugreek you might want to take Blessed Thistle as well, same frequency and dosage. I've had to take 4 of each 3x daily to notice anything at all, but I am slowly starting to stockpile some milk, so I know it's working. I also eat oatmeal every day because several people told me that oats help increase supply. The most important thing you can do is pump EVERY 2 hours for a couple of days, then SLOWLY start to increase the amount of time between pumping sessions. I think that's been the most beneficial thing I've done. I know what a pain it is but you only need to do that for 2-3 days and it should have a pretty big impact. Use breast message and compression to empty your breasts as completely as possible during each pumping session to stimulate your body to make more milk. Good luck to you, I know the time and committment it takes to pump for your baby but I truly believe it's all worth it. My baby is 4 months old and thriving.

My sister did and it worked. What kind of pump are you using? The best way to increase your milk supply is to have the baby nurse. If you use fenugreek and you nurse instead of pumping I'm sure you will notice a difference. Also if you use fenugreek and you want to pump instead of nurse then go ahead and pump as much as you can get out and then let the baby just suck for about 10-15 extra minutes each breast. That way worked for me without using fenugreek.

I took fenugreek after a bout with mastitis, and it definitely worked. But fenugreek can't help unless you increase the demand. There are a few things you can try:
-You may need to pump more often/longer to see an increase.
-You may need to drink more fluids to get an increase. I drink about 60 ounces of water a day. Breast milk is made of water - if you're not getting enough, you can't produce enough.
Also, fenugreek is supposed to take 7-10 days to kick in. You may just need to give it a bit more time.

I used to take fenugreek but didn't seem to work for me. Hated the smell on me as well. Thistle milk somehow works better for me. On top of that, take more oats, drink more water and eat more carbo. Green beans soup seems to work for me. My milk supply dropped two weeks ago and thank God it's increasing again after taking the above. Oh yeah, pumping more certainly helps.
Hope it works for you. All the best.

your body makes enough milk to feed your baby. you dont need to increase it! if you had triplets, your body would make 3 times as much milk. its ok, your fine without it!
