Just got a New Computer made for me Windows Vista Ulitimate for £520, good price I thought, people tell me it is rubbish

Welllll..Being low priced that it is, it can probably barely run Vista and will be slow as heck. Vista has some pretty steep hardware requirements, which laptops usually dont compare as well to desktops in. If you dont have: 1 GB Ram, 126 MB video card, these are recommended, you might have problems

Its not a bad price for a computer but I am not satisfactorily convinced with Vista to buy something with Vista yet. Security flaws have already been disclosed on Vista.

not bad price for computer but dont know much about vista from what people have said not much diff from windows xp

No not at all, Its new window and very useful for a student and for bussness man. Always listen to people but do what you think right. Otherwise its depend on you, how you will use this window.

It doesn'#t just depend on whether or not your o.s is Vista . What are the actual specifications of it .I.E Mainboard,Ram,H/D,ETC...?

No because you can update your computer's system later.
Any can run all XP programing

well if its a laptop its great.. but if its a desktop then i dunno.. need to know the whole configuration like memory, hard disk, screen etc..
