Not really. The Colts kept the Bears over-rated defense on the field for over 40 minutes. Bears will be playing the Colts next season, you'll see the same outcome, probably even a bigger blow out since there's not going to be the "rain factor."

Probably not so....at least not in the sense of "ANYBODY BUT Grossman...". There are few great QBs, and many get by just being adequate to good. At his best, Grossman is still only a potential, not great, but you are right in part. His running backwards on 3rd and one yeard, to pass, was a bad move, when the situation called for a one-yard run. Then it happened again--two sacks for 20 yards lost. And three interceptions.

But the rest of the Bears did not exactly shine, either. Take away Hester's opening kickoff runback TD, and you've got the Colts dominating the Bears in time of possession, number of first downs, yardage, control of the line, control of the ball, and control of the Bear team in general. Grossman was only one factor. The Colts forced the Bears to look bad. That means the Colts played better, and deserved to win.

Yeah, they should have put in Greasy. Of course the Bears made a lot of mistakes last sunday, not just Rex Grossman.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda as my mom always says...The Bears lost...no real excuses in that game. It was Chicago's decision to go with Grossman, and therefore they're clearly not the better team. I would have liked a closer game though....

I dont think so. The colts ran like 80 plays compared to only like 47, while manning had 247 and a td. rhodes and addai combined for 190 and td. cedric benson and gabe reid both had fumbles that were vital to the colts win. even though i do think grossman sucks, it wasnt all his fault. the bears were out played.

Grossman did not do well but I don't know if that single handedly would make the difference.I'm sure if they had someone great maybe Manning,Brady,Favre or even McNair the game would have been much closer.

I'm pretty sure Thomas Jones couldn't run the ball and I'm almost pretty sure that the Colts ran ALL OVER the Bears, and I was cheering for the Bears.

No way, this was Peyton's year. Bears just looked good during the season and playoffs because they were playing against the lame NFC.
