How to maintain a high level of visibility in day to day professional work? My serniors says..if you maintain high level of visibility of your work, the career growth will be very fast? But I am not sure how to maintain a high level of visibility of work? Can any one answers my question please. Thanks in advance.

PS : Please dont answer like "Ask you seniors when told you"etc.

Hello there I know exactly what you mean.....this is what you do....when you get a chance ask your seniors inquisitive questions about whatever projects you are working on... don't be a Kiss up but confidentially ask then some questions about the project.. Like where do you see this project in a few years.... when going to a meeting have some very well thought out questions to ask during the meeting.. It shows interest.. and then you will find your seniors offering you extra info that you don't necessarily need to complete you task.. Pay attention to those silly emails put out that tell you where the company is headed... If you see a project coming that has High visibility...a greatly talked about project try to get on board.

Communicate with your bosses and your peers to let them know when you're doing something above and beyond. Speak up and contribute in meetings.

If you're not comfortable doing that or your office environment isn't conducive to it, you might want to keep an activity log after each shift highlighting the accomplishments of the day. When it's review time you'll have your own performance record--if that still doesn't work you'll have action items all ready for your resume.
