Good point-kinda. A better choice of words could be in order. Muslim extremists and fanatic evangelicals maybe. I am Christian and also a Democrat. I want peace, abortion is a toss up to me. My life definately doesn't revolve around fear of a supreme being. I get what you mean. But, It's a little more complex than that.
BTW-mojo, we don't strap bombs to ourselves. We have too much cash to do that. We use B-52s, F-16s, M 16s, and tanks.

Holes, everywhere there are holes! I might sprain my ankle!
Are you exempting leftists from this? Gee, I wonder why?
Let's see...
Intolerance of others' views - nope, no Democrat (Ted Kennedy? Nancy Pelosi?) has ever behaved that way.
Want peace but choose war - It's a good thing no Democrats voted for the war, or your argument might not hold water.
Don't care about innocent children - let's not even go there.
Revolving around a higher entity or order - big government = which party?
And you're leaving out the majority of the Muslim population, that does NOT support current jihadist tactics.

You're right and actually all closed minded fascists are pretty much the same. Christianity and Islam are virtually the same religion Islam is just service back two for the bible and Judaism is the blueprint, Windows 95.

I disagree with your analogy on hate. You have not included the Dems, liberals, conservatives, Shia or Sunni in your hate for political expediency dialog.
Most people begin to dislike an opponent when there is disagreement. Most people start to hate when there is strong disagreement. Its the same for siblings, families, religions, countries and political affiliations. Dislike too frequently leads to hate which in turn leads to murder which in turn leads to war.
The simple solution is respect and understanding for anothers viewpoint. Isn't this the essense of love and peace?

"Muslims and Repubs are usually Christians..."
This brilliant conclusion alone pretty much says volumes about the rest of this question.

No-No-No, you are obviously talking about the left wingers. You know, like the university in California that just had to cancel a job fair because the students were cursing and throwing water bottles at the military recruiters there. Some progressives -- some tolerance. Hypocrisy at its finest.............

I believe the better question to ask might be:
Why do liberals love the Muslims?
Finally, the US has declared war against religious fundamentalists, which liberals supposedly hate, and the libs don't want to fight now.
Yet another example of leftwing hypocrisy.

This is something I've been thinking about for several years now. And you've only listed a few.
If you were to list the tenets of radical Islam it would be almost identical to the modern Republican. It's truly astounding.
Basically, Bush is at war with himself

They can't see it. The similarities are so close it's scary. Both sides want to wipe each other out over ideology.

You forgot that both the extremist Muslims and extremist Christians have terrorist groups.
What, there are no Christian terrorists?
Tell that to the victims of abortion clinic bombings.
Oh wait, you can't because they are dead from a Christian terrorist attack.
