Hello, I have mercedes 310 van 1995 (high top) I need a new battery, can I just buy a normal battery or do I?

have to by a special van battery, also where is the best place to buy one and how much will it cost, I live in Northamptonshire UK thanks.

No such thing as a special van battery. Just go to the parts store and tell them the year, make and model and they will hand you the correct battery.

I'm sure, your battery is 12 volts.You can use any type of battery as long as it is 12 volts.Ask your nearest battery store for replacement.
