Just be yourself and try not to act the way you think others would want you to. Stay sweet and you may not be the talk of the school right away, but slowly people will realize that you're a good person. All the popular girls you see? they have the most problems out of everyone. The girls who look so buddy buddy with each other will stab each other in the back if you wait long enough. So it's OK not to be smack in the middle of the three ring circus of popularity, because kids who "peak" early as popular aren't necessarily the ones who are going to have meaningful relationships and be Popular in a couple of years. Be sweet to everyone and be yourself and nothing else can be better in the long run.

Focus more on being a "good person" than on being "popular." If you're a good, kind person, then most people will genuinely like and respect you, which is much better than the power-hungry, back-stabbing, shallow version of "popular" at so many schools.

I guess you could gossip, backstab, social climb.
Crash A-list parties at lake houses. Wear Abercrombie or Hollister (ew).
Lose your personality and be convinced to do stupid things like drink or smoke or have sex.
That's about it.
Dunno why you would want that, though.

do something you would have never done before try to get attention then get in with all the cool people but don't try to be something you aren't if they don't like cause of who you are then they will never like you
