If you are concerned about speeding and citations it sounds as if perhaps you need to set your alarm 15 minutes earlier so you can get on your way earlier, thereby giving yourself the actual time required to arrive at your destination.
Don't endanger someone else's life because you do not want to obey the set speed limits - or better yet - take a taxi or public transportation.
The easiest way to avoid a speeding ticket is - don't speed.

You need to speed so fast that the speed camera cannot read your license plate, overheats and explodes... or is that too fast for you ? In that case say it was your friend in the car but he has now gone back home (abroad) Don't say an EU country as they can trace that. Say something like... Cambodia.

I know someone who bought such a book and has used it to much success. The basic idea is, when caught, be honest and respectful to the officer. Contest the ticket and go to court, try to plea down to a lesser charge that avoids points on your license. The advice is pretty good if you are a chronic speeder.

You may be able to get away without getting a speeding ticket. Depends on how good you look in fishnet stockings, and how lonely the officer is..... Just kidding.
Don't speed.

I wonder if a defence to knocking somebody down might be, I was just glancing down at my speedo your honour at the critical moment to make sure that I wasn't travelling at 31MPH.

There are ways round the law, but as quick as the loopholes are exploited, they are closed.
