First it is called Santorini.
Second, yes there are things to do, but maybe not ten days, you can go to another island as well. In santorini, you'll visit the volcano, you'll visit the nice town of Oia, you will go to Akrotiri, where there is a fantastic city destroyed by the volcano, but kept up to a 2-storey level of the houses, you can go horse riding by the sea, you can go to Kamari and Perissa for the sea, and generally enjoy night life and spectacular views and sunsets.
But you can also combine it with Naxos or Paros, on the same ferry line, these are also beautiful lively picturesque islands with great beaches and monuments. Also Mykonos is connected with Santorini once a week I think, this is a beautiful island too, near the archaeological site of Delos. Syros is also connected, just make sure to choose a fast ferry, that is a neoclassical island with an interesting architecture. Choose Archontiko Vourli or Syrou Melathron if you are on a honeymoon on Syros. Email me if you need more info.

What are you looking for? I live in Florida so beaches are not my thing. Santorini is a great Island to visit, spectacular and has some interesting archaeologigal finds. Last time there, I spent 5 days and could have stayed longer.
Most important is who you are with. You could Island hop the Cyclades and see Mykonos, Syros ,Naxos, Paros, Tinos, Ios on the same ferryboat route, or the eastern Cyclades Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos, Kimolos, Milos on another.

Santorini is one of the most popular -and most expensive- Greek islands, with spectacular views and a very busy nightlife (mainly in Fira). Long beaches, with dark sand and rather deep waters.
Well connected to other islands: 1 hour to Ios, a couple of hours to Naxos or Paros, or Creta. For something more quiet you could also try Folegandros for a couple of days. And do not visit the volcano, there is nothing to see and do not visit Oia at the sunset, unless you want to share the moment with endless crowds. Avoid August when the island is packed with Greeks and Italians - anyway, beware of the locals, they are rude and they only see you as a wallet.
