we used to call them "preps" where I am from, and a few years back. and we did not like them because they were such followers of each other. not sure if that fits in 2007...

some people look at them admired, others whith hate for two reasons.
1.they wnat to be like them but they can´t
2.or they are superficial to think thata all trendies are superficial too.
personally i think , being trendie can be good, but when all your hours are spent watching pictures of magazines and your only hobby is "shopping" and you judge people only by how they look...
its wrong.. usually the above it typical trendie behaveor.
