how did you know he or she was the one? what was it about them that made you want to seal the deal? How long were you together before getting engaged?

I am engaged and have been with my soon to be hubby for almost 3 years. We will be engaged for about 6 months before we are married.
I knew he was the one..I can not pick a defining moment but I just knew after seeing him with my family. He just fit in like it was suppose to be.
He says he knew from the moment that he met me. In fact he was with a friend that night and he told his friend after he talked to me..that "she is the one...I will marry that girl"..his friend thought he was crazy...but it was fate!

I'm married... Something just told me he was "the one." I just knew! He had all the qualities I was searching for in a husband, although he wasn't perfect. I wasn't interested in talking to anyone else; we talked on the phone for hours and it seemed like we never ran out of things to talk about. I enjoyed his company and never got bored with him, and still don't!! We dated for a year and a half before we got engaged, and were engaged for a year. If you don't know he's the one by the time you've dated for a year, it's probably time to move on!

It took me over a year of getting to know him before I decided he was the one. It wasn't all emotional hearts and flowers, it was learning about his character, his morals, whether he was trustworthy and kept his word, his financial responsibility, if he had an even temper, if he paid his bills on time, if he kept his commitments, how he treated/was treated by his family, his future goals, his views on family and children, how he behaved when I was ill, how he handled stress, if he drank, if he had emotional baggage, his views on religion, what he expected in a wife, how he viewed women in general, how he acted when he got angry or had a problem, if our lifestyles were compatible... it took us about a year to learn all these things about each other, and when we learned that we "fit" on all these levels, we knew. It wasn't one silly, romantic moment, it was a journey of discovery that had many layers.

don't get married...u will be sorry...one never gets sexual relations after getting that marriage certificate...watch..and see
