of course they are SCAMS.

they are listed on HIJACKED ACCOUNTS.

That has scam written all over its sad that people try to get the hopes up of people looking for a good deal. The way you Know it's a scam is because of the obscure price $1,936? A real person would list it at $2000 if they wanted 2000. Craigslist scammers are the scum of the earth! also the fact that its not under cars and trucks by owner lets you know they want to avoid being reported by going under a strange category.

probably,

you have to make sure the sell item and the "group" selling it are legit.

If they seem to be, you should go there and test drive the vehicle also.

once you feel it is what you want, (they should answer all your questions), then bid.

They price it low, but probably have a high reserve.
If there is no reserve, they probably hope the low price will attract alot of bidders, and that the price will go up from there because people will compete against eachother for that item.

sometimes they price it low and create a "anon" account, and THEY are the ones bidding against you, in order to get your max bid higher and keep you bidding so that they get what they want.
