Perhaps more a statement than a question, but wouldn't it serve the country better to collectively focus the anger and hatred at the enemies of the US, rather than eachother? Makes it a whole lot easier for the enemy to attack when they see such a vastly divided country...

Thanks Info, for proving my point! And after careful consideration, you're right...the democratic Americans are much worse a threat to our country than terrorists...what was I thinking???

I don't think we should collectively focus anger and hatred so much as we should focus attention. When someone hits you, you don't have an inherent right to hit them back. Two wrongs do not make a right, the cycle of violence will perpetuate until someone is becomes the bigger man and comes up with a constructive solution. The Muslims are divided as well, between the typical normal ones and the violent jihadist ones.

Which party is focusing the anger on their own countrymen?

Democrats:

-Accuse the president of lying
-Want to withhold funding and aid from the troops
-Aid the enemy through their rallies (Jane fonda and such)
-Don't come up with a solution to iraq, just whine and cry

It is clear to see who the enemy here is.

Absolutely, but the people who oppose the war do not understand our enemy. they Think that when we pull out of Iraq it all ends and Diplomacy will save the day.....WRONG!!! when we pull out of Iraq, Radical Islam will become stronger than ever and we must be prepared to deal with it.

Mark it down, when we leave Iraq the Radical Muslims will bring the fight to out shores. You can call me out on this one if you like but it is inevitable.

We tried that... and then SOMEONE thought it would be 'brilliant' idea by invading Iraq.
