Some people hide their frustrations until they get all built up and explode all at once over nothing.
It could be that they just have something that irritates them and they dont say anything about it and it just builds up as a minor irritation until they can't handle it anymore.....
There was someone I know that would be laughing and having fun one minute and get angry over nothing seemingly for no reason, I thought it was just their personality, later they were diagnosed as bi-polar.
Could be a drinking or drug problem.
Could be drinking or drug withdrawls.
Could be PMS
I'm not saying any of this as a diagnosis or an excuse, everyone is different.

To the outsider who is watching or listening to someone who is getting frustrated, angry they may consider what the person is getting upset about as nothing. However, for the person going through the experience it does have meaning for them and that is why they become frustrated, angry.

Narcissism seems to be a big factor. You have a lot of people who have spent life not being validated for one. Some never grew out of the "Me" state for some reason and feel that the world owes him or her something. Those need to take the Staples Singers' "Respect Yourself:" to heart. You have people who weren't raised a right way; still as one gets older one learns right from wrong. People see what does and doesn't work. There are things that make a profound iimpact on a person as well. People do deal with things differently. I saw an episode of "Montel" in which a guy who endured sexual abuse from a cult comitted suicide whereas there was a woman on stage who kept going.

One's inability to communicate effectively. What may seem as 'nothing' to you (us) may be the person's most important strife at that point in time.
Communicating effectively is an art. It needs to be learned and applied. Few of us are good learner either, again it's a learning process and we all have different curves.

Well you kinda answered it yourself- When people get frustrated because so many aggravating things keep happening they tend to have less patience for things that wouldnt usually bother them.

Probably just stress, or lack of self acceptance. You can't do anything for somebody like that, except for reminding them that they don't need to get like that over nothing!
