I want to buy tickets for a man utd game but i dont want to get tickets and then be stuck in the away stand...so for what stand should i buy my tickets?

The Stretford end (west stand) is not the away end, its the main stand for united, the hardest to get tickets for. Its united's version of liverpool's kop. the away end is actually in one corner of the ground, taking up part of the east and south stands.
if going for tickets, go for Stretford end or south stand behind the dugouts/near the tunnel

THE STRETFORD END is for the die hard man utd fan - u wont get tickets there i promise!
Try South Stand as that is where the dug outs are and will be a good view of all the touchline activities
Away stands are normally the upper and top tear of the south east / north east quadrants.
However anywhere you sit will be an amazing atmosphere!

Travelled to watch portsmouth take on utd in the fa cup ! was in the away stand with 3000 other away supportters ! could not belivie the home fans all 68000 of them never heard them for 88 minutes ! if you want to enjoy the game stand with the away fans !
