I really doubt it. IP addresses are not assigned according to street addresses, nor map coordinates. Some ISPs operate over a very small area which might make it easier for you to know whereabouts they live.

If you have an abuse problem, go to the police. They can request the address information from the other person's ISP. You cannot get this information from their ISP yourself.

You could try to see if the IP has an active finger server which might even contain the information you are looking for (although probably not).

IP stands for Internet Protocol The IP address is the location of your computer has when it is attached to the Internet. Every computer needs an address so that data can flow from one computer to another. And yes - every computer has a unique address The IP address your computer is using right now is probably "leased" from your ISP. So as long as you are using it, it is yours and yours alone. When you stop using your connection (you turn your computer off), that IP address becomes available and may be assigned to some other box. When you turn your computer on again, you get an IP address. It may be a different one or the same one, only your ISP knows for sure Hope that helps

If it's to tract a home user it's impossible because they are behind a firewall at the ISP provider level.

If its to get to a company, most have static IP adresses and if they are good they hide it from the public to avoid DNS attacks. But in this case you can always try : www.nwtools.com
You can get the IP source and the name of the owner of the static IP but then you need to go to a yellow pages and get the address.

Otherwise it's simply impossible to get the exact street address from an IP

Likely doesn't exist and would not reliable if it did. It would require an ISP to divulge confidential information something they will not do without a search warrant. And some people use proxy servers that would fake that information. For example, you could be surfing in Oregon and use a proxy server that is New York and the IP address will be that of the New York proxy.

There's no such thing. The best you can do is get the contact information for the ISP that hosts them. If it's involving a crime, then you'll need to get law enforcement involved and they have to subpoena the ISP for the account associated with the IP. It gets even more complicated if the address is in another country - you have to get Interpol involved as well as police in the other country.

That would be considered stalking.

The closest you can get is finding out their city by way of their ISP (service provider).

otherwise you have to "hack" their ISP to get the personal information of one of their clients.

HOWEVER, alot of people could simply reroute their IP through someone else's IP.
Then you have the wrong person :)
