If you were given $1,000,000 to make a difference, how would you spend it?

What would you do in someone gave you 1 million dollars to spend to somehow make a difference in the world. How would you spend it? Where would you focus the money at, or what charities would you work through or maybe even establish?

pay a hitman to whack ahmaweeniejob, hugo chavez, and the korean dogeater. That would make a huge difference in the world.

To make a difference in the world, I'd give money to several relatives who are kinda poor, and I'd give money to my synagogue, and I'd give money to good political causes, such as protecting the US-Mexican border, and MEMRI.com, and charities that support the US troops, and I'd give money to Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign, to keep the Democrats out of the White House.

Create large fund raisers focused on
Helping raise awareness about global warming/clean the earth/make it so that animal rights are acknowledged and fought for
Trying to get rid of as much poverty as I can in the places that need it the most/ raise awareness about sex trafficking and modern day slavery/ hold campaigns about starvation that runs rampant in poor countries
Sending vaccines to countries where people are dying from curable diseases/ raise AIDS awareness
Raising awareness about the current genocide in Darfur/ ensure the safety of the peace keepers sent to Darfur by the U.N.the conditions the people in North Korea live under
Providing aid to war torn countries and places riddled with violence and corruption

It might sound like alot, but that's what I'd do.

I would create a company that would provide jobs to areas of the world where money and jobs are desperately needed. This way I wouldn't just be giving money to people, they would have to work for it, teaching people responsibility. Also I would create jobs that are needed for that community and culture, not just jobs profiting the western world. I would donate the profit from this company to worthy researchers to help eliminate deadly diseases.

I would start a shelter for abused, raped, or anywise hurt woman and teens. This would help make a difference in the world because so many young woman out there are in desperate need of help because their boyfriends, fathers, or other men in there lives are abusing them.. This would be a safe place for them to go to escape all them..

you are not really asking a question. you are making us "dream" -- not even that i have not seen a dream with a million bucks on the side. i would wake up right away and search everywhere. back to your original question --number one i would not spend it right away, i would wisely invest it and from the proceeds i would help -- number one priority -- the children, the orphans, the innocent -- and the list is endless. include in that "save animal funds" etc. hope it helps. now where is the million bucks? i will tell you more.

I would create a camp for kids who have never been away to camp. They could come each year for 5 years. Every kid should have an opportunity to experience camp.

i would go to college for buisness management, start my own successfull buisness, and then use profits to start a few more, untill i owned an empire, and my weekly income was in the tens of millions, THEN i would start my own charity to personally make a difference in the areas that i deem important. not what others say is important.
