Education or lack of. The country will fall apart from within in a matter of years...maybe only one generation. My grandparents were immigrants who suffered much from wars and economic depression and only had a third grade education, but were smarter, more disciplined, determined, hard working, appreciative and sacrificing than the existing generation and the one they will produce.

Undocumented workers invading our country is the number one issue. The population of undocumented workers in the U.S. is larger than the entire population of Iraq. It is proven they increase crime, bankrupt state and local governments, bankrupt hospitals, destroy schools, and greatly increase pollution. Congress says they kill three times more Americans YEARLY than all of the Americans that died on 9/11.
The second issue is global trade. Global Trade is destroying America. It will eventually bankrupt this country. Within 10 years the trade deficit will top 1 TRILLION dollars a year. The trade deficit contributes to the national debt and it lowers wages. It also will decrease Americans' buying power.

The war on terror.
We do a pretty good job of helping ourselves and helping other people, when we're not bothered by the threat of terrorism. And the war on terror is aiming to free the people suffering under Muslim dictatorships. Dictatorships that cause terrorism.
The war on terror is a noble cause. I wish George Bush would be more convincing about this. Leadership!

The No. 1 issue of today's America is that it's people are constantly looking for a "No. 1 issue" to worry about... the exact same problem that the people of my country ( Iran ) have "always" had, and the source of all the humanity's real problems: fear and worry ( and in the name of "improvement" of all things !!! )
Don't you see ? Being constantly afraid or worried will consume you, people, stop it !

The illegal alien invasion brought about by an unsecured border is the number 1 issue. Dems won't do anything about it because of the voter potential and Reps won't because of big business wanting cheap labor. So, as usual, the average American gets screwed.
