Its obviously going to hurt some no matter what, but if you really want it then just consider how you react to other pain. If you cry at the smallest scrape, then sticking a needle through your skin is probably not the thing for you. But most people don't experience alot of pain from getting their belly button pierced. Its just important to be careful in the months afterwards to keep it from being infected.

because some people have a higher pain tolerance and can handle pain better than other people. It's all about what you personally can handle. I don't think anyone can say it doesn't hurt AT ALL though, I mean come on your having a needle shoved through your skin, that hurts even if it hurts just a little. It's not painless.

I have no idea. Never done it, but I can tell you that it hurts like hell to get your nipples pierced! Don't do that unless you REALLY want some pain!

it probably depends on where they get it done if I were you, I'd start asking people who claim it didn't hurt where they got thiers done.
