Well, to amplify one person's description, she's a few decks short of a full deck...
But... it IS her training showing through. She needed (in her whacked head) to pour it on and push through in the least time possible. No stops for going, um, potty. Shuttle astronauts wear diapers during long evolutions like re-entry and she just went with her training. To us, it seems exceedingly nutso, but to another shuttle astronaut, it would simply seem a bit out of place.
One has to wonder just why this was released. I suppose the cops arrested her and searched her pretty comprehensively. And for some reason had to titillate us with this detail. Alternatively, she's crazy but "like a fox" and figures this is the sort of behavior that will impress a doctor as her being temporarily insane and not culpable. I hope it's loser police because I find people gaming the legal system to be particularly odious. They are tearing at the fabric of our society. If this seems a little silly to mention given this event, then consider the drunk who keeps a definitely sealed bottle of liquor in the car and when he hits a mother in a crosswalk, waits for witnesses to gather, then ostentatiously opens the bottle and downs several swigs "to (swig) settle (swig) my nerves, my God (swig), I could of killed her (swig)" and drops the bottle when the police arrive so it breaks and no one can say how much he had before it broke and so no one can establish he was drunk, it's just an accident.
And THAT has happened, though sometimes the driver goes into a nearby bar and downs several shots.
So I hope it was loser police who couldn't be professional and had to titillate us. Or loser press people who learned of it from gabby police.

It gives me an idea for my next road trip. I am a frequent urinater. Now I know how to save time on long trips in the future.
Can you imagine all the embarrassed astronauts?? Nobody will ever see them the same way again.... especially when we see them off to the launch pad. Now everytime I see them waving at the cameras as they walk to the launch pad ... I'm going to think..."he/she is wearing a diaper!"

I think she has some kind of space disease - I mean she was obviously tested to the eyeballs with psychological profilling before she was allowed anywhere near a multi million pound space shuttle, now all of a sudden she is driving long distances on with a nappy for efficency and decency !!! this is stranger than any of the Xfiles - I think some alien life form has wormed its way into her brain - Hey its just a theory but its my theory

I think she's a few cards short of a full deck.
Hopefully she'll get some help, cause from reading those articles, being found wearing a diaper after a long haul drive to murder someone who may or may not be dating someone she likes, is the least of her problems. LOL

Despite the fact she was going out to commit a crime I thought it made practical sense. She obviously had a tight schedule to keep to and toilet breaks would have interferred with that.
Its funny to think of atronauts sitting on the launch pad wearing a diaper though!

She was obviously obssessed with the guy. Oh, and by the way. Did you hear that they've decided to charge her with attempted murder? I guess because she had a knife in her car. What a looney!

I thought that she would have been mentally assessed. Could you imagine it she'd landed on Mars and freaked out on the martians.
