Although the Scissor Sister had a unique sound about them a few years ago, have they just gone down hill from there? If you've purchased their 'Ta-Dah' album you will probably know what i'm talking about. I was deeply disappointed with it.
Got any recommendations for other artists?

My mate loves them...I hate them. Whenever I hear them I get an urge to start chewing the tablecloth.
I have even gone as far as to declare my home and car 'Scissor Sister Free Zones'.

I'm nearly 60 and love the Scissor Sisters. I have'nt heard the 'Ta Dah' album so I reserve judgement. But surely it can't be that bad. I still love the Beatles music and ABBA but, at the moment, I really enjoy Mika and 'Grace Kelly'.

I like Ta-Dah. It's good in parts but not overall as good as the first album. I don't think they're doing anything that hasn't been done before but it's nice to have a band around who like to glam it up instead of all these dirty t-shirt indie boys who look like they need a scrub and a good ironing.

They are a singles band, I mean the singles are good but the whole album is rather disappointing.

For awhile whilst i became right into a baby I ate peanut butter and miracle whip sandwiches. Or i might in basic terms get up in the midst of the night and consume the miracle whip the superb option out of the jar. My mom might consume peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. whilst people hear that they think of i'm gross

Neither, just plain awful and terribly overrated.
And yes, unfortunately, I have heard their new album (subjected to it at work) and if it's possible it's worse than their last. Maybe if we keep quiet they'll go away.....sshhhh...

alas, done are days of good music and real meaning, yet how ever the teenyboppers survived is beyond me.
