eep, this one is simple except for the dratted conversions! you need to convert 2.7 gallons to cm^3, and 19.8 lbs to grams. once you have done this, you can divide grams by cm^3 to get the density and it will be either 0.9 or 0.4 which tells you which one the log is.

It's an oak log. Sounds more like physics than chemistry but there you go.
